Ireland

From Scotland, we flew to Dublin, Ireland, for a 10-day guided train and bus tour of Ireland. As soon as got to our hotel, we headed for the nearest pub for a pint ( Guinness, of course ) and a bowl of Irish stew. We decided that was the best way to start the tour. The train took us west to Galway and we toured the area via bus and even a short plane ride to Aran Islands. A bus took us south to Limerick then to Killarney and onto Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney stone. After visiting County Cork, we boarded the train back to Dublin. The train took us onto Belfast the next day and then by bus along the coast north to Gaint’s Causeway and back to Belfast. Followed the next day with a train back to Dublin.
